Following our recent web server migration from "mycpanel" to Tokyo and Virginia, we'd like to inform you about an important update regarding your account's security.

Reconfiguring Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

For enhanced security on your new server, it's necessary to reset your two-factor authentication (2FA). Here's a quick guide on how to do it:

  1. Delete the Existing 2FA Settings: Remove the old 2FA setup from your account, including any saved barcode screenshots.
  2. Clear Old OTPs: Erase the previous one-time passwords (OTPs) from your password manager.
  3. Set Up New 2FA:
    1. Log in to your cPanel
    2. Scroll down to the Security section.
    3. Click on Two-Factor Authentication for cPanel to reconfigure.

Note: 2FA supports only one concurrent session per user. Logging out from one browser window will log you out from all others.

If you encounter any issues or are unable to access your cPanel, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance. You can also log your cPanel via SSO by accessing your Services.

Recommended Password Managers

To further enhance your account's security, consider using a reliable password manager. Here are seven excellent options:

  • 1Password: Great for managing multiple passwords securely.
  • Dashlane: Known for its intuitive interface and security features.
  • Bitwarden: An open-source option with strong security protocols.
  • KeePass: A free, open-source manager for those who prefer local storage.
  • NordPass: From the makers of NordVPN, known for its robust security.
  • RoboForm: A veteran in password management with a solid track record.
  • Authy: TouchID and syncs across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Your security is our top priority. Thank you for taking these steps to ensure the safety of your account.

Warm regards,
