On our systems, all WordPress installations added using the WordPress Toolkit are permanently attached to the WordPress Toolkit.

If you do not want to continue using WordPress Toolkit to manage your WordPress installation, you can simply detach it from the WordPress Toolkit.

 

To do that, log in to your cPanel

Scroll down to Applications and click on the WordPress Toolkit icon.

When the page loads, click on Detach from the menu that appears.

Please note that:

  1. WordPress installations that were installed using WordPress Toolkit CAN NOT be detached.
  2. WordPress installations installed manually or via Softaculous CAN be detached.
  3. Detaching a WordPress installation from WordPress Toolkit will stop WordPress Toolkit from managing it.
