Customers can purchase a private SSL certificate either via our billing system or our cPanel control panel.

If you are purchasing via the billing system as a new and existing customer, you will be using the services of our partner, DigiCert Inc., a leading global provider of scalable identity and encryption solutions for the enterprise.

If you are purchasing via your control panel, you will be purchasing the service via our partnership and integration with cPanel.

The following describes the SSL order flow and the different options available when you purchased via our billing system.

 

How To Purchase Private SSL/TLS As A New Customer

If you do not have an existing account with us, you can purchase SSL by following the steps below.

Navigate to Store >>> HTTPS SSL/TLS Certificates at dashboard.webhostingmagic.com/store/ssltls-certificates

Select the desired certificate type (Standard SSL (DV), Organization Validation (OV) Extended Validation (EV), or Wildcard)from the feature matrix tables shown.

You can also do that by clicking on the View All SSL Certificates listing on the main overview page.

Select the "A domain I already own" tab and enter the desired domain name you are purchasing the SSL certificate for.

Click Checkout to add the certificate to the basket and complete the checkout process.

You obviously need to create a new account before you can complete the transaction process.

 

How To Purchase an SSL As An Existing Customer

If you are an existing customer, navigate to Store >>> HTTPS SSL/TLS Certificates at dashboard.webhostingmagic.com/store/ssltls-certificates

On the Store page, if not already logged into their account, you will be given the opportunity to login via the "Choose Existing Domain" tab to add it to an existing domain in your account.

On logging in, you get an additional option of adding SSL to a subdomain of an existing domain they have also.

The available options are:

  • Add SSL to an existing domain in their account
  • Add SSL to a subdomain of an existing domain in their account
  • Purchase SSL for a different domain not already in their account

Simply choose the appropriate option, select or enter their desired domain, and then hit Checkout to add the certificate to their cart and continue to the checkout process.
