WordPress comes with an extensive collection of languages but the primary language has always been the English language.

But WordPress also made it easy for you to choose the language your WOrdPress website or WordPress blog will use.

Even in a multi-site setting, each blog can have its own language setting.

To change your WordPress language:

  1. Log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the navigation menu, then click the General link.
  3. Click the drop-down menu next to Site Language, and choose your preferred language.
  4. Click the Save Changes button.

You will then see the website displayed in the language you selected.
