When a new account is migrated to our system either as an account primary domain or an add-on that is added later to an existing account, our system will automatically install an SSL/TLS certificate if the domain doesn't have one.

If your domain or add-on domain is running under HTTPS traffic and our system hasn't installed an SSL certificate on it, chances are that it is because the current certificate for the domain is issued by another certificate authority (e.g Let's Encrypt) and that the certificate has expired.

To view the current state of your domain SSL, log in to cPanel, scroll down to the Security pane, and access SSL/TLS Status.

You will see any existing error (if any) why the system hasn't installed an SSL/TLS certificate on the domain.

To address this, log in to cPanel, scroll to Security and click on SSL/TLS.

There select the old certificate and delete it.

Go back to the SSL/TLS Status, select the domain(s) and ask AutoSSL to install a CA validated SSL/TLS certificate on the domain and its service domains.

Another reason this would fail is if your domain IP is pointing to another machine rather than the one that is hosting your account.

To get the best out of our web hosting platform, log in to cPanel, scroll down to the Zone Editor and click Manage.

Once the page loads, replicate all the records there at your domain registrar's DNS dashboard.

Our AutoSSL will be happy to install a valid SSL/TLS certificate on your domain(s) once it sees that the IP has been correctly configured.

If you would rather have us get this done for you, please create a ticket request and let us know.
