PHP error log location is already set globally at the root level.
However, the location can be configured on a per-user basis.
To do that for your cPanel account, log into your cPanel.
Scroll down to Software and click on the MultiPHP INI Editor.
Click "Editor Mode"
Select the location.
You can select:
- a home directory will set the option for all domains, addons, and subdomains configured on the account.
- a specific domain will limit the change to that domain, or an addon domain, and the matching subdomain.
Add this line:
error_log = "/public_html/error_log"
or:
error_log = "/public_html/errors/$domain/error_log"
Save the changes.
