If you have an online shop or running an e-commerce website or one of our hosting resellers with a dedicated IP address, chances are that you need to have this configured for better email deliverability.
While this can be added to your added to your records, rDNS is something that has to be done at the upstream (datacenter) level.
The issue is that when an IP is locked to a domain, it often takes another 3 days for it to be released for usage if the customer doesn't use it anymore.
So careful consideration is often given to this when requested.
