On July 1, 2017, India transitioned from a Service Tax to a Goods and Services Tax (GST) system.

This system is similar to the VAT (Value Added Tax) and sales taxes levied in other countries.

Because we conduct business in India, we are required to comply with Indian regulations and therefore levy GST at the following rates:

  • For customers in Gujarat State: Central GST (CGST) at 9% and State GST (SGST) at 9% of the invoice amount.
  • For customers not in Gujarat State: Integrated GST (IGST) at 18% of the invoice amount.
  • Customers in India can also optionally provide their GSTIN (GST Identification Number) when placing an order.
