1. Upgrade
The easiest option is simply to visit dashboard.webhostingmagic.com/upgrade.php, select the service that needs more hosting resources, and upgrade.
To upgrade,
1. Please visit https://dashboard.webhostingmagic.com/clientarea.php
2. Click on Services
3. Hover (the pane will turn gray) and click on an existing active service that you have.
4. Once the page reloads, look at the right side to see the available options.
It takes barely minutes and the system will calculate the difference (if any) for you.
2. Overage Billing
We do understand that customers might need a resource burst now and then.
It is why our systems are overage usage enabled.
Overage billing allows our billing systems to bill you based on the disk and/or bandwidth used for a given month over and above the base amount allowed with your hosting package.
Our experience has shown that this works better for customers who need periodic bursts.
If you need consistent usage that is over what the current package allows, the first option is often the right approach.
3. Per-Usage Billing
We will also be bringing per-usage billing before the end of this month (June 2021).
With this, the system bills you for your actual usage per month instead of a fixed package cost per month.
You can think of it as the way your utility company bills you for your phone data plan every month.
